My artistic practice spans a wide range of two-dimensional media, including drawing, painting, photography, and mixed media. While much of my personal work is grounded in observational realism, I enjoy working across a broad spectrum of styles—from representational to abstract—and adapting my approach to the unique goals of each project. Whether creating independent work or commissioned pieces, I am drawn to the challenge of translating ideas, stories, and values into compelling visual forms. My work is guided by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful composition, and the belief that art has the capacity to communicate meaning in ways that words alone cannot.

For eight years, I taught visual arts at the high school level while leading the development of a growing fine arts program. More than teaching technical skills, I sought to help students discover their own artistic voice by cultivating careful observation, creative confidence, and thoughtful engagement with the world around them. I believe that meaningful artistic growth emerges through a balance of disciplined craftsmanship and personal exploration, and I found great fulfillment in mentoring students through independent studies, senior capstone projects, exhibitions, and portfolio preparation. Watching others develop the skills and confidence to create work of genuine beauty and significance remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

Throughout my career, I have been drawn to roles that bring together people with diverse perspectives to accomplish a shared vision. Whether leading educational programs, managing interdisciplinary teams, coordinating large-scale projects, or working as a therapist, my greatest strength has been helping individuals and organizations navigate complexity with clarity, purpose, and collaboration. I enjoy building systems that foster effective communication, establishing structures that allow creative work to flourish, and creating environments in which people feel heard, valued, and equipped to contribute their best work. At the heart of my leadership is a belief that meaningful projects are realized not only through strong ideas, but through relationships built on trust, shared purpose, and thoughtful collaboration.
